The Righteus Community!

Yes, this looks a lot like other social platforms that you have used in the past. The difference, however, is how we choose to function as a community.

Righteus was created for Christians. If you believe in God. If you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, then this is where you belong.

Welcome!

Unlike most Christian communities - and nothing against them at all - Righteus was not created to be an extension of or replacement for church. This is a place to fellowship. A place to relax, make new friends and enjoy your relationships with God, Jesus and other Christian neighbors.

In other words, no one is here to judge. We all have a different paths that we are on and though we may share our journeys and discuss our issues together, the intent is not to judge each other.

The point is to bring us closer together, not drive each other apart.

With that said, thank you for joining our new online home. We still have a long way to go but I'm excited to see how we grow.

    Future Features:

    There are a number of new features that we look forward to providing the community in the future and we can do so without creating performance issues.

    Some of these features include:

    - Live streams
    - Video Uploads
    - Video and audio calls
    - IOS app
    - Android app
    - Christian Marketplace
    - Christian Jobs
    - Christian Movies
    - and more!

    Most of these features require servers that we, as a privately owned community, cannot afford at this time. As we grow, however, and with the help of our members and/or sponsors, partners, supporters, etc., these features will be made available as soon as humanly possible.

    In the meantime, members can easily embed videos by sharing links from platforms like Youtube and Rumble (recommended).

    We'll keep you updated on all things to come.

    ADULT CONTENT:

    I decided to keep this feature but NOT for the reasons you think. With parent's permission, we hope to invite kids to our platform to help them grow as Christians. The "adult content" button exists to keep kids away from discussions, posts and photos that they may be too young to be a part of.

    So no, this doesn't mean that we are free to post inappropriate content . The restriction exists to protect our kids.

    Get your minds out of the gutter - kidding!

    About TIPS:

    I hope it doesn't have to be a priority but the plan is to change the wording from "tips" to "donations" some time in the future.

    And please don't let "the ask" ever discourage you from being here. We provide this community and our services 100% free to our members but there is so much more that we can do with help from the people who have the time and/or financial resources to help us grow.

    In the future, the tip feature will also be available to other church groups and programs that we partner up with here at Righteus.
